I find that somewhat strange, just because, try as hard as I might to imagine what it must be like....I'm just not a purse girl.
Give me a pair of shoes, and I'll be super excited. Give me a purse, and I'll very politely say--It's okay, I don't need a purse, I already have one. See below:
Angel gave me this purse our first Christmas together. And yes, the rubber band ball was inside it. Why, I don't know. Angel's presents are extremely random.
The main reason I don't like carrying a purse is because they're so easily lost and left behind. Angel and I were at one of our favorite restaurants--one where the waiters recognize us because we've been going there so long. After our delicious dinner, we headed out to the car, and just as we were getting in, we were surprised to see our friendly waiter chasing us down with my purse in his hands. "This is a very nice gift," he said, as he returned it to me, "But I don't want it."
I don't want it either--but the only alternative to carrying a purse (or similar bag) I can think of is cargo pants, and I really don't think I have the right legs for those.
I don't like carrying a purse, but I do enjoy accessorizing with a purse. I do sometimes wonder why we carry one. It seems like if guys can just carry stuff in their pockets, it should be acceptable for us to as well. Maybe you should invent purse pants.
That purse is adorable! And I love that he put a rubber band ball in there. Randomness is the best!
I've gone back and forth on this issue. I really love purses but hate to carry them. Hubby is over the purse carrying business so it usually gets left in the car.
Currently my purse ways a ton. I need to get a smaller purse so I don't fill that sucker up!
I used to love purses...now, I just want to downsize to a cute clutch, and that's it. Most of the time I pull my wallet out of my purse and just carry that around with me. I haven't even bought a new purse in...gosh, like 2 years probably.
I've just been putting my driver's license and other cards in my pocket and clipping my keys to my pants' belt loop. Not the coolest maybe but it works for me.
I need a smaller purse but i am so use to big ones! I can't believe i haven't been following you, i thought i had..well now i am..YAY!
Hahaha, the cargo pants...that made me laugh! I totally am the opposite! I am obsessed with purses. Every year my hubby lets me splurge and I get a really expensive new one. But still, I have left them places before and that offers a heart attack! So, it works to your advantage in that regard not loving them!
Hi there Rachel! Thanks for popping by my blog and leaving a comment, appreciate it! :) I love your plaid purse and mismatching is the way to go, makes for interesting outfits. :)
I didn't carry a purse until I was like 19! and when I did, I was like you...then came my husband. he started buying me designer purses. Obviously he isn't gay because well...he married me! but I actually really enjoy the designer purses (and this is coming from someone who used to not care...) and I am honestly not someone who wears designer stuff to just say I'm wearing it...I need REASON...my favorite bag is COACH - they're just made so well and the openings are huge and I can throw in diapers, wipes, wallet, and anything else I cram in there when I'm in a hurry. ha. however I am totally opposite of you in the matching department because I CANNOT mix a brown outfit with a black purse or vice versa (sp?). ha! those are the only 2 colors I refuse to let go out on a date.
I love huge purses that can be filled with all kinds of randomness. However, I really don't care for purses. I will use the same purse until it completely gives out or someone buys me a new one. I own one purse that's my "fancy purse" my husband bought for me when we started dating and I'll throw stuff in there if I'm going to a wedding.
