The Problem with Clothing

I bet you didn't know that I hate getting dressed.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy clothes. Very much. Aren't they pretty? I think everyone should wear clothes all the time!

Thankfully, most of the time, they do. I really am very fond of clothes. It's changing clothes that I don't like. Taking them off and putting them on again. Especially this time of year. Think about it--you're wearing something nice and cozy,  the fabric is all warmed up to your body temperature, and then you have to go and take them all off and start freezing, and when you do start putting your new clothes on, the clean, stiff fabric fresh from your closet is icy cold when it first touches your skin, and it's not a pleasant feeling at all.

It would be so nice if I could just stay dressed all the time and push a hidden button on my clothes when I wanted them to change color or style.

This is also the reason I'm hating showers right now. The shower itself would probably be okay, except that it always has to end, and then you are wet and the bathroom is cold and it takes far too long to get warm again after getting dressed.

And I have to say, thank you all for your either encouraging or hilarious comments on yesterday's post, I'm happy to know that I'm loved here, even if my classmates find me weird.

Ha ha I totally agree here and was thinking this same thing just this morning as I was attempting to get dressed!

I agree.

I'm with you on the hating changing clothes thing. I just crank the heat in whatever room I'm changing in until it's basically the same temperature. That may or may not be power smart.

I hate putting on cold clothing too so we put what we can in the dryer on the freshen setting to warm them up.

Loving your outfit too!

Haha! I am so with you! I am like a little kid when it comes to changing my clothes. Most nights I just wear my shirt from the day before to bed. I'm so lazy. I also get dressed in the morning under the covers. Alex thinks I'm crazy.... shifting around and making a ruckus. But, hey, you do what you gotta do, right?

Ugh I feel ya. In the morning I always toss my work clothes into the dryer for a few minutes to warm them up. How nuts is that?

I know exactly what you mean. I make a pile of clothes on the floor in closet everyday from trying things on and taking them off. I found you at The Pleated Poppy link up. I am loving your style and have found a lot of inspiration in your blog! I'm very happy to be a new follower and hope we can keep in touch!

Love your outfit! Super cute. That jacket is adorable. Where'd you get it?

I love fashion/coming up with outfit ideas, especially in fall/winter. But when the room is SUPER cold, like in December - is going to school in my PJ's an option? :P

Again, super cute outfit!

I agree about the shower. My husband has a trick to warm the room before he goes in the shower he lets the water run for about 5 minutes on hot. I can't do that since I think it's wasteful. I am tempted the cooler it gets though.
