That's so interesting that you didn't like traveling... and I love the story of the water-drenching :) And it's so great to see a vlog, I love hearing and seeing the writers behind these blogs! <3
its so cute to hear your voice! ^_^ also, I would totally plan to see the Mall of America, if 1) my husband didn't hate shopping and 2) it wasn't like 8 states and 3 days away
:P
Yay, it's so fun to hear your voice Rachel!
I used to want to go to the Mall of America, when I was little. Still haven't been yet! Growing up, I never went anywhere because we always traveled to my grandparent's house in a small town in America. I went to other places, but I wouldn't have really considered it a vacation. Since I met my husband, we try to travel as often as possible.
So good hearing your voice!
I love that you went to Mall of America! that's so fun ;)
So fun to hear your voice : )
I can't believe you don't care to travel. Unusual for someone with such and international background.
bisous

It's so weird to hear your voice :) And I've always wanted to go to the Mall of America! It's a combination of everything I hold dear, shopping, clothing, food, rollercosters, and fun, fun, fun.
I would definitely love to go to Thailand, but for now I have my sights set on India. James and I want to go for the Holi festival. Maybe one day soon...
Mall of America sounds so fun! Glad you linked up, pretty girl!
I love your vlogs!! I actually don't really like traveling either. I like GOING places, but if I could teleport there, I'd definitely pick that route. When I was younger I looooooved taking planes, but as an adult it's just a huge hassle and I'd rather not deal with it. Especially trying to get out of Alaska (and it's the same for overseas I know!) when you have to have a bajillion layovers. Just flying to Seattle from Sitka (a 2.5 hour flight if you could fly straight there) there's a layover in Juneau and a layover in Ketchikan. It's a pain.
DUDE! seriously! so glad you did this - your voice isn't quite like I expected; then again, I don't really know what I expected....don't take this the wrong way but it's so much sweeter and softer than I imagined. haha. Then again you totally seem like the type of person that would change your voice completely to trick everyone...something my husband would do. Seriously, sometimes when we go to the store or the bank he will put on a British accent the entire time we're there. haha. Just sounds like something you would do - totally not accusing you of that but now I'm rambling and need to be quiet. ha!
Loved this post :)
Great, now I have to go back and read the entire blog in that voice.
I have been to the Mall of America twice in the past year. Which is unusual considering I live 7 hours away from it. The first time I went with my husband (we were in town for a concert) and we had such a fun time. This summer we went back with our son, which was slightly less fun because trips with young children are stressful. We loved the rides and the lego store.
We also went to the Henry Doorly zoo in Omaha, Nebraska. I highly recommend it. I don't really like animals and I generally hate zoos, but that place is amazing.
I'll remember the name of that zoo! I always think I like zoos, but many of them tend to be less than impressive.
And Mall of America is so busy, I can imagine it being more stressful with a little one to keep track of!
That's so fun seeing you in video form. It's always interesting to hear how bloggers sound!
I'm surprised that you wouldn't want to go to China first since you speak Mandarin, but have never been. You totally sound different than I would have thought!
Thailand sounds amazing! City-wide water fight? Sign me up.
And I am way too jealous of your trip to the Mall of America. That sounds so fun!
You've seen so many places for somebody who doesn't "like" travel. That's lovely.
I love that you hated traveling as a kid, and yet you went to Thailand. My family almost never travels, and it's among my favorite things in life. NYC in the fall is happening in October and I nearly die over it every day, just realizing I get to go back:)
Great Vlog!! So exciting "meeting" so many new people through GBTB! This is my first link up and I will definitely be doing it again!
I'm visiting from the Girl Behind the Blog link up! (I linked up late) It was really nice to "meet" you!
Alesha <3
I'm right there with you, if I could hop on a plane I'd go back home. I used to be a non-traveler too, but now that I'm older I want to get out more and more.
