Do you guys have a color? And I don't just mean a color that looks good on you, though that might be part of it.
Fuchsia is a color that works well for my hair and skin tone, but there's something more to it. Fuchsia simply IS my color. I feel most at home, most me, when wearing fuchsia. I feel like it describes me well. It's vivid, it's a little outside the the norm, and it's probably not included in the standard 12-set of crayons.
This dress is my color, and I love it.
It's also from eShakti, which you might have noticed I wear a lot of. It's this dress, but I added sleeves and changed the neckline. That's the beauty of eShakti. I prefer knee-length dresses with short sleeves, so that's what I purchase. My mom prefers calf-length dresses with a longer length of sleeves, and that's what she orders. Seriously, I am a living, breathing advertisement for eShakti, and because of me, my mom, several of my sisters, and now some of my sisters' friends as well own dresses that they bought from eShakti. They are an awesome company when it comes to sizes that are hard to find (ever tried shopping for a 5'8" but extremely slim teenager like my sister Rebekah? It isn't easy!) and for styles that aren't excessively trendy. Because my family lives in the tropics, they especially like the selection of 100% cotton dresses because of how breathable they are in high heat and humidity!

I think you're right - fuchsia looks so good on you. I don't really know what my color is - I've heard I always look good in similar colors fuchsia, pinks, reds.
I love your dress, fuchsia is definintely your colour. For me, I think it's khaki green. I have quite a lot of accessories and tops in that colour and it seems to complement my fair skin & dark blonde hair quite well :) x
Red is my color Rachel. I agree Fuchsia looks fantastic on you. I love the vintage feel of that dress. Fits you great. But I am especially loving the necklace, bracelets & shoes. The bow on your hair looks too cute. =)
Navy isn't my favorite color by all means, but I think it may be "that" color that just works well with my complexion. I think really any earthy colors work fine as well, and I truly consider all of those to be "my" colors.
Love the dress, it has some really interesting seam lines as well, I really like that part about it! You're right, you look great in that color!

I'm not sure WHAT my color is. I know that I own plenty of vibrant jewel tone colors; I'm not sure why I gravitate towards them. Who knows if they work well with my skin tone, etc.; I just like the colors!

Yes! Fuscia is your color! Red is my color- my favorite color and it looks good on me. Something about red. When I was younger I thought pink was my color, then there was purple and then there was turquoise. But red always comes back!

I know what you mean about having a color that's you--I feel that way about a very pale aqua. I seldom wear it, mainly because it's difficult to find and I feel that blues aren't as decent looking on me, but it's the color of my room and I use it so much in my paintings. n___n

I've honestly never thought of a colour as 'my' colour. I really like a greeny blue, sort of like aqua and I always have ever since I was little. But I don't wear it.. Red.. I like when I wear red or army green. The green brings out my eye colour and the red just brightens me up !

The color looks good with your skin tone! I've never ordered dresses from eshakti...I think my favorites to wear are blue-ish green that make my eyes pop or coral pink (esp. in the summer time...which at this rate in Michigan, is never coming ;)

Definitely your colour! Mine would be dark green, sort of bluey dark green. Same colour as my eyes and it makes the colour of my eyes pop!

I love to wear bright and rich colors, like fuschia, deep purple, red, burnt orange, and olive green. However, I feel most comfortable in navy, charcoal, and black.

I have long given up buying clothes in bright colors, because they just hang in my closet, But I envy those that wear bright colors with panache.
