Grocery Store Shopping Haul

Have you heard of this "Shopping Haul" phenomenon on Youtube? You probably have. I figure most people are more internet-aware than I am. However, because my family reads this blog and they only watch NigaHiga and Kid Snippets on Youtube, I should explain the context: Apparently, these days, whenever you go shopping, the appropriate thing to do is to make a Youtube video and show all of the stuff you bought to your webcam.

*Even though in the video I claim that I'm not mocking this phenomenon, I totally am.

**Craziness. Did you notice strawberry yogurt makes two appearances in this 1:30 video? I wonder if there's a secret message behind that. Possibly it means that my nickname should be "One-Shot Vlog Rachel" because if a vlog can't be done in one shot, I'm not doing it.

Hahahaha! Oh man, that was riveting viewing, much like most 'shopping haul' videos I've stumbled across! I just don't get it!

Hahaha you are too funny! I never really understood those. Like, ok maybe I get it if you find a really good deal on something. Maybe. But why do people just share their entire shopping trip. And I love that you showed the yogurt twice! haha

hahahahahaha! I always wanted to know what you bought when grocery shopping!

Hahaha you are so funny. I have heard of people grocery-shopping online but to me that is extreme. Seriously, you are that lazy not even to pick up and CHOOSE your own groceries and fresh produce at the market? But yeah shopping haul videos are all the latest trend, these days. Ahhh we live in the era of Technology where Instagram, Facebook. Twitter and YouTube rule our lives! =P

This is hilarious, Rach. I never really understood those shopping haul videos either - the majority of them seem like they're just a way to show off how much money someone spent without batting an eyelash. There's a few I've seen that are full of nothing but designer clothes, purses, shoes...literally a $5000+ shopping haul. Um, congrats? I could re-floor my entire house for that much money.

Oh hey, also, I'm loving your hair lately!! So full and curly!

What the what?! Is this really a thing?? I had no idea. And yes--where did you find organic frozen spinach?!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog so that I could find yours! Hope you're having a wonderful week, pretty girl! XOXO

Yeah. I thought at first the haul thing was to share good deals or something somewhat useful. But no. I'm going to join you on this and make a bill-paying haul. "here's our rent, oh, and here's our electric....OH....and OMG CAR INSURANCE!"

I've never heard of people doing this, so I guess I better get on the bandwagon, too:) You are hilarious!!

Hahaha, I thought this only applies to fashion vloggers! :) Apparently, I'm not very aware too! LOL

Hahaha!!! I LOVE this! I've never understood those videos either, and I've always found them to be a bit obnoxious. But this, on the other hand, is hilarious :)

This cracked me up. So much. Love, loooove it! Ahaha, I am actually a closet-watcher of some (just some) shopping haul videos. Yours was definitely one of my favorites though!

How is that a thing??? I do not care what people buy at the grocery!!! I've never heard of that before now.

"I bought food." Best line of the entire video. I always think it's neat to see people on videos .. it's like 'meeting' you almost properly.

haha, that video is awesome -- your voice is so pleasant and calming - you could do voices for books on tape or something :) enjoy that strawberry yogurt and salsa (but not together!)

LOL amazing! I never understood haul videos. Is it just a way to not so humble brag?

Oh my! I had never heard of this. I'd be too afraid to show people what I buy. I feel like they may either criticize the brand or the few junk food items in the bags. :) You were smart. You actually bought healthy food. I loved that last line by the way. :)

I finally just watched the video and now I need to know where you shopped because two of those items were clearly Aldi brand but the rest are not familiar.

HAHAHAHAHAHA I am dying. "I bought food!" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH I don't get the videos and have never heard of 'em, so you're not alone. I liked yours, tho. Gimmie some of that lazy girl!

Feel like every time I go to the store I buy at least 2 blocks of butter. We use it a lot. Sliced peaches? Nice choice.
