Angelisms, on Hong Kong Disneyland

I could tell you my thoughts on HK Disneyland, but I'm an easily excitable person, and on vacation most of my thoughts tend to be "This is so much fun!!" Because of this, I thought it would be entertaining to bring you a few of Angel's comments during our day at Disney:

Hong Kong Disneyland

"I've always wanted to buy you a tiara, but this is the first place I've ever seen that actually has a good selection!"

"It's a Small World sucked. But I was thinking, we should make President Obama and Xi Jin Ping and Putin all ride It's a Small World together before they have meetings, just to see what the effect would be, for good or for bad."

{while waiting in a 30 min. line for Autopia} "If this is the future, the future is slow."

{after seeing lots of empty shelves in the gift shops} "Who has the money to buy all of this merchandise?"

"This kind of makes me want to buy some Disney movies at DongMen because I don't really remember any of them."

"How in the world can there be a 45 minute line for a carousel? It's a carousel."

{after riding Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars} "Now I understand why Disney is famous--they have a roller coaster that goes backwards! That was awesome!"

"Okay, most of the rides were really cool, except the one about Winnie the Pooh, I thought that was lame. And It's a Small World. But I know they have to make rides for little kids, so they're okay, I guess."

{after watching the "Disney Paint the Night" Parade} "That was exactly what I want."
Rachel: "That's exactly what you want in a parade?"
"No, that's exactly what I want my life, my house, everything in the world, to be like."

Ha! That's awesome! I worked at Disney World for several years, and overhearing amusing comments was one of the perks of the job.

hahaha, love the comments. :P I went to the HK Disneyland several years back! Weirdly enough, the lines were so much shorter than in LA! <3

I've been to Disneyland and Disneyworld in America, but I'd love to go to Disney in Asia! Is it much different?

LOL, love his comments! My husband feels the same way about It's a Small World!

HAHAHA his last comment - about the parade - so spot-on. My 3 year old and I went to Disney Paris and the thing I remember the most was the sparkle sounds, the smell of fresh bread, the songs and magic literally everywhere. I wanted my entire life to be like that, too!

Haha! That's so cute! I love that last quote. :) I've been to Disneyland and Disney World, but haven't ever made it to one on another continent. It's on my bucket list though!

I've missed these Angelism posts! I've never been to Disney anything, but I've heard of this Small World ride, and I think he might be onto something...

A life like a Disney parade would be pretty sweet. I'm glad you found the perfect tiara.

So cool :) I think that's what makes Disney what it is... A place enjoyed by all. 'The future is slow'.. hahaha! I know how slow those queues are.

We are planning a trip to Florida. After visiting Disneyland in California, we decided on skipping the Disney World in Florida but this post makes me reconsider the decision. Love everything about Disney.

Hilarious! I love his foreign policy thoughts re: It's A Small World. That ride is maddening. That last comment is hysterical.

Ha, his comments are hilarious! My husband hasn't been to a single Disney park. If our vacation to France gets postponed due to work stuff, I'll probably take him to Disney World next year instead. I've been to the original Disneyland, California Adventures, Disney World (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM, Animal Kingdom), and Disneyland Paris. Each of them offers something a little different. They're all magical!

I about died on the small world comment, how funny would that be to see those leaders together on it!?! I didn't like the ride in Florida when we went growing up...and I never get the long line things with carousel's either.
Hope you two had a blast! :)

I enjoyed all of these but that last comment is pure amazing! I love Disney World in the States but I never realized that there was a Disney Land in Hong Kong! How fun!

Love the term "Angelisms". I call Tony's "Bunnisms", as "Bunny" is one of the nicknames/terms of endearment that I've been calling him for many years, now. I love that he doesn't care in the slightest that he's a big, burly chap whose wife calls him "bunny". :)

Sending tons of hugs & happy holiday season wishes your way,
♥ Jessica
