Date Night Style (Couple's Edition)
We went out for dinner at the mall the other day. We're still experimenting with finding new favorite restaurants around here. Usually, the two favorites that draw us back again and again are SAB, a shop with outdoor seating and heavenly Indian food...and Chili's, because there's only so long you can go without chips and salsa.
Every once in a while, we branch out from our favorites, but so far, we've not found anything we like nearly as much. Malls have always been some of my favorite places, and I'm loving getting reacquainted with the malls here. In high school, I knew the location of every store on every floor--but things have changed a lot and now I'm lost until I get the new mall map memorized once more. It's so interesting to discover what is and what is not available at the mall here. There's a grocery store in the basement, and a movie theater on the top floor...and lots of shops filled with all sorts of interesting things in between. But Kohl's and Sears and J.C. Penney's and American Eagle are a thing of the past, replaced by Padini and Parkson and Dee's and H&M. (We had no H&M near where I lived in the USA--only when we moved to China did I first experience living close to one of those.)
Angel insisted on having his date outfit recorded as well, and also insisted on posing for his "outfit picture." I argue that his is a highly inauthentic pose, as I always smile at the camera instead of giving it an unfriendly glare.
What should be noticed is the fact that yes, he carries my purse for me. I never carry my own purse unless utterly necessary, because I hate all the purses in the whole world. Good thing I have him!
Do you carry your own purse, or do you also have your own personal purse-carrying service?

I have a baby bag now and my husband carries it 90% of the time because I am carrying the baby!!
hahaha YES! That's awesome that he carries your purse for you!! I carry my own, mainly because I love to accessorize with them, but also because my boyfriend would never walk around holding it haha
That blue color looks gorgeous on you!
Your dress is so pretty, blue is lovely on you! Hope you had a great date night and you enjoyed the new restaurant you tried! :)
Hubby would never carry any of my bags, haha! Too girly for him! :P I'd be lost without my bags too, I'm always needing something (I carry so much in them!).

That's so funny that he carries your bag. My husband also carries our diaper bag, even though it's a bit on the girly side! :)
I love that Angel wanted to have his picture taken as well! I love your blue tunic!
I love your tunic!! And I'm the opposite from you in regards to bags. I love wearing my a bag to complete my outfit.
Hahha, I love your purse carrying service! That is so cute. Your outfit is beautiful!
Cutie!!
I'm so jealous of the purse carrying! That's hysterical. James would totally do it if I asked him to, but I just have him carry the baby instead ;)
What a cute top! That would look fierce with some skinny jeans and nude heels, too!
This might be one of my favorite outfits of yours! Very cute. Hilarious that Angel carries your purse. Jordan would rather die.
I loooove that top! It's gorgeous!
SO funny! I love when couples laugh together. (And can poke fun at each other too) ;)
gorgeous tunic! What a fun time :)
I thought it was a small man-bag until I finished reading! Sean only holds it if I need him to - like to tie my shoe or something.
Great date night looks! I generally carry my own bags, but it sure is nice to have someone you can hand it over to if need be.
Best Wishes,
Allison Jones

My purse is also Rhys's diaper bag so Justin and I take turns carrying it
Bahahahahah Angel!!! I'm speechless.
Hahahahahaha! I WISH my husband carried my purse. That is only when I'm in dire need or there is some kind of emergency.

So beautiful! I love that look!
That shirt is head-turningly gorgeous! How fascinating that you're not a fan of purses or carrying them. I'm your polar opposite there. May I ask, do you like backpacks, tote bags and such, or do you prefer to be bag-less entirely? (Just curious - that's all :)).
Big hugs,
♥ Jessica
I don't prefer to carry any bags at all--I like to be free! haha...but I bow to the necessity sometimes of having stuff with you like a wallet and phone and housekeys...hence the small purse.
That top is absolutely gorgeous!
That dress is beautiful! Sometimes I don't mind carrying a purse. Sometimes I take out the essentials (id and phone) and shove them in my husband's pockets. He hates it.
I LOVE your shoes too! Great look!
I LOVE that shirt--it is absolutely gorgeous! Also, I think it is awesome that you have your own purse carrying service in your hubby. Mine usually is the one giving me a ton of junk to put in my purse so I can haul his stuff around!
I love what you're wearing! And the purse-carrying-deal sounds pretty good to me!
That shirt is so lovely!
I absolutely loathe carrying things. Anything. It's not that I think I'm above carrying stuff, it's just that I like to feel FREE! It's weird, I have a big anxiety about clutter and accumulation of things, and the same sentiment applies to purses. I feel restricted and burdened by them. The thought that I am carrying around IMPORTANT things like money and identification and insurance cards makes me nervous. You can't lose what you don't have with you, right!
Anyway, this is why I wear the smallest possible satchel. Hands-free! :)
